Use of Information Collected Via Mobile Devices
In connection with its mobile applications, Ideal Scuba Academy may use third-party service providers to analyze non-personally identifiable user activity to fix errors, monitor usage and improve the performance of the mobile applications. By using any of the Ideal Scuba Academy programs, services and sites and providing information to any of them, you voluntarily consent to such trans-border transfer and hosting of such information.
Ideal Scuba Academy will not intentionally disclose or transfer (and will take reasonable steps to prevent the unauthorized or accidental disclosure of) your personal data to third parties without your consent, whether for such third parties’ own marketing purposes or otherwise, except as follows: Ideal Scuba Academy may provide access to your personal data to third-party service providers engaged by Ideal Scuba Academy to provide services related to programs, services and sites, provided that such third- party service providers will first agree to maintain the strict confidentiality of such information and provide the same level of data security as provided by Ideal Scuba Academy.
Ideal Scuba Academy may also share your personal data with third-party service providers who perform services and functions on Ideal Scuba Academy’s behalf to support interactions with you, including, for example, processing Training Program documents, administering surveys and contests or communicating with you. Facebook Custom Audience and Google Custom Match
Where legally permissible, Ideal Scuba Academy may use certain limited personal information about you, such as your email address, to hash it and to share it with social media platforms, such as Facebook Custom Audience and Google Custom Match, to generate leads, drive traffic to Ideal Scuba Academy’s websites or otherwise promote Ideal Scuba Academy’s products and services. These processing activities are based on Ideal Scuba Academy’s legitimate interest in undertaking advertising activities to offer you products or services that may be of your interest.
Your information may be used for these purposes if you have communicated with Ideal Scuba Academy through Ideal Scuba Academy websites or apps; have registered on Ideal Scuba Academy or joined Ideal Scuba Academy; have completed a Ideal Scuba Academy Training program and opted-in to receive information about Ideal Scuba Academy’s programs, products and services and other information from Ideal Scuba Academy; or have corresponded with Ideal Scuba Academy requesting such information. Only authorized Ideal Scuba Academy personnel and third- party service providers are provided access to personal data, and these employees and service providers are required to treat this information as confidential. Despite these precautions however, Ideal Scuba Academy cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will not obtain access to your personal data.
When you begin a checkout or redemption process within Ideal Scuba Academy’s sites, Ideal Scuba Academy requires that a secure connection between your computer and Ideal Scuba Academy’s server(s) be established. To do this, Ideal Scuba Academy’s sites utilize a technology called Secure Socket Layers (SSL). SSL encrypts your personal and credit card information before it travels over the Internet. SSL technology is the industry standard for secure online transactions. Because Ideal Scuba Academy uses SSL, registering on Ideal Scuba Academy eLearning/Knowledge DirectWeb, for example, is just as safe as providing your credit card number over a telephone. SSL is an industry standard with advanced encryption technology that works with current versions of Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari and numerous other web browsers. A secure connection is maintained until the checkout process is either completed or canceled by the user.
Although Ideal Scuba Academy uses such industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, 'perfect security' does not exist on the Internet.
